Who we are
Alina Husain is an immigration attorney with extensive experience in direct client representation, whether through consular services, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services processing, or federal immigration court litigation. Alina began her career in human rights law in Washington, D.C., working with immigrant survivors of violence, advocating for immigration policy reform, and training cross-industry allies. After relocating to Florida, Alina was part of the Global Immigration and Mobility practice group for an international law firm where she specialized in employed-based and business immigration petitions. Prior to attending law school, Alina worked with non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and the media in North America and internationally.
Since childhood, Alina has had the privilege of living in multiple countries and cities in North America, Europe, and Asia. She has also navigated the complex immigration process in the United States firsthand. As such, she offers clients a unique cultural perspective and a personal understanding of the challenges and opportunities involved in immigration matters. Alina brings keen insight and empathy to each case, helping clients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their journey.
Alina studied Political Science and Anthropology at the University of Toronto in Canada and completed her legal degree at American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. Alina provides services in English, Urdu, and French.
