Alina Husain is an immigration attorney with extensive experience representing clients across a broad spectrum of immigration matters, including consular processing, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS”) petitions, and federal immigration court litigation.

She began her legal career in human rights law in Washington, D.C., where she worked with immigrant survivors of violence, supported advocacy efforts related to immigration policy reform, and trained cross-sector allies on issues impacting immigrant communities. After relocating to Florida, she joined the Global Immigration and Mobility practice group of an international law firm, where she advised clients on employment-based and business immigration matters. She also works with a national civil rights organization handling humanitarian immigration matters and cases involving protected class discrimination.

Prior to entering the legal profession, Alina worked with nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and the media across North America and internationally, developing a multidisciplinary perspective on migration, advocacy, and global mobility.

Alina has lived in multiple countries across North America, Europe, and Asia, and has navigated the U.S. immigration system personally. This background informs her practice with a nuanced and empathetic understanding of the legal, procedural, and human dimensions of immigration law. She is known for providing clear counsel and steady guidance throughout complex and high-stakes immigration processes.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Anthropology from the University of Toronto and a Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. She provides services in English, Urdu, and French.
